Dr. Mrityunjay Doddamani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur, and an affiliated faculty member at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, New York University (NYU), USA. He leads the Advanced Manufacturing group and collaborates with premier institutions including National University of Singapore, University of Wisconsin-Madison, New York University, USA. His research spans Composites, Additive Manufacturing, Smart Manufacturing, Design and development of materials for specified applications with a strong focus on product design and security assurance in manufacturing systems.

Dr. Doddamani has authored over 85 journal publications, holds 5 patents and 12 design registrations with patent office of India. He is a recipient of the Prof. Satish Dhawan Young Engineer State Award and is listed among the top 2% of scientists globally. His research has been supported by national and international agencies, securing over ₹4000 lakhs in funding as PI/Co-PI. He is an active member of multiple professional societies and serves on editorial boards and conference organizing committees.
