Sustainable Procurement
IIT Jodhpur is adopting Sustainable procurement for their needs of goods, services, works and utilities to achieve “value for money on a whole life basis”. The Life Cycle Cost (LCC) represents the total cost of its ownership and includes all the costs likely to be incurred during the life of the items to acquire it, operate it, support it, and finally dispose of it. This benefits not only IIT Jodhpur but also society, the economy and avoiding damage to the environment.
