Office of Stores & Purchase

The Office of Stores & Purchase facilitates the following:
1.	Purchase of equipment & stores;
2.	Maintenance of Asset Register; Stock Verification;
3.	Maintenance of Control Store; Maintenance of lists of stockists and dealers for various items of regular purchase;
4.	Liaison with State Purchase Cell and Customs;
5.	Processing of write-off & disposal of unserviceable stores/equipment;
6.	Advising in the framing of rules for Purchase and Maintenance of Stock Registers, Stock Verification, write-off, etc.;
7.	Advising Departments, Centers for Technologies and other academic service facilities with respect to stores & purchase; and
8.	Advertisements on request of Offices of the Institute.
