Broad Functions
- Constitution of the following Statutory Authorities, IIT Jodhpur:
- Board of Governors
- Finance Committee
- Building & Works Committee
- Senate
- Preparation of the Agenda and Minutes of the Statutory Bodies in coordination with respective Offices.
- To ensure timely implementation of decisions of the Board of Governors (BoG) and other Statutory Authorities.
- Ensuring compliance with institutional bylaws and regulatory guidelines.
- To issue various Circulars/ Office Orders/ Office Memorandums/Notifications based on the Ministry of Education & other applicable Govt. of India Rules and associated with functioning of the Institute upon approval of the Competent Authority, from time to time.
- Constitution of all Institute Level Committees.
- Coordination with the Administrative Ministry, i.e., the Ministry of Education on various matters.
- Management of Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS).
- Facilitating training and professional development programs for Staff Members.
