Title of the Talk: On tensor products of representations for Lie algebras and quantum groups

Abstract: We discuss tensor products of simple modules for quantum affine algebras and the problem of determining when such products remain simple. After reviewing the classical and quantum affine case for the Lie algebra sl2, we focus on higher-rank type A, where combinatorial interval models help describe reducibility phenomena. Recent joint work establishes uniqueness of prime decomposition for modules whose Drinfeld parameters have snake support, providing new insight into the structure of simple and prime modules in the quantum affine setting.
