Date, Time and venue: 30th Sep, 2024 at 12:00PM - 1.00PM, @Meeting Room, Dept of Mathematics.
About the Speaker: Dr. Kiran Meena is currently working as Assistant Professor at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. She has obtained, Ph.D from Banaras Hindu University, and has postdoctoral experience from Harish-Chandra Research Institute. Her research area is Differential Geometry.
Abstract: In recent years, the theory of Riemannian maps has been analysed extensively. In this talk, I will discuss the geometry of natural submanifolds arising out of Riemannian maps. Towards this I will establish my (jointly published) results when the source manifold admits Ricci soliton structure and also, I will describe the concept of Riemannian warped product maps introduced in one of my (jointly published) papers. Finally, I will discuss the Clairaut conditions for Riemannian maps and their important geometric implications.
