Title of the Talk :- Graph Homomorphism

Abstract :- Graph homomorphism is a powerful tool for understanding the structure of graphs. In this talk, we will focus primarily on problems related to graph homomorphisms from a structural perspective with some discussion of computational aspects. We will explore how homomorphisms reveal key structural properties of graphs. Further, we will discuss the application of these structural insights; including an application in the cops and robber game. We will conclude the talk by outlining some further research directions.

About the speaker :- Dr. Suchismita Mishra is currently doing a postdoctoral position at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai. Prior to this she has done several Postdoc positions at the Universidad Andrés Bello, República, Santiago, Chile, and IIT Gandhinagar. She obtained Ph.D from IIT Madras. Her research interests include: Graph Theory, Algebraic Combinatorics and Parameterized Algorithms.
