About

Dr. Shaily Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at IIT Jodhpur. Before joining IIT Jodhpur, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI), Germany. Prior to that, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai. She earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2020 from IIT Delhi under the supervision of Prof. B. S. Panda. Dr. Verma's research interests lie in graph algorithms and parameterized complexity, with a focus on the design and analysis of efficient algorithms for hard combinatorial problems. She has published her research in leading international conferences and journals in theoretical computer science and algorithms, and continues to explore problems at the intersection of graph theory, algorithms, and computational complexity.
