Dr. Moumita Mandal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. She earned her Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from IIT Kharagpur, following a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics from Bankura Christian College. Her research specializes in Numerical Functional Analysis, particularly in approximation methods for integral and integro-differential equations, fixed point theory, and operator theory.

With teaching experience spanning IIT Jodhpur and VIT University, she has offered a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Numerical Analysis, Functional Analysis, and Scientific Computations. She has authored over 15 journal articles in reputed international journals and contributed to several conferences and workshops.

Dr. Mandal has been recognized with prestigious fellowships and grants, including a Postdoctoral Fellowship from NBHM and multiple research grants from NBHM and IIT Jodhpur. She serves as a reviewer for Mathematical Reviews and holds memberships in several mathematical societies such as AMS, RMS, and IMS. She is also on the editorial board of journals in mathematics and computational sciences.

Her supervision includes guiding multiple master’s and doctoral students, with active research projects funded by Indian government agencies.
