Dr. Abhishek Sarkar is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at IIT Jodhpur. He earned his Ph.D. from TIFR-CAM, Bangalore. He did his postdoc at University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic for more than three year. He served as an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus prior to join IIT Jodhpur as an Assistant Professor in 2019. His research primarily focuses on nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs), including elliptic (of second and higher orders) and nonlocal equations. Among notable achievements, he was awarded the DST-INSPIRE Faculty Award (DST, Govt. of India) in the year 2018.
