Information for Authors
Techscape shares the research & development, pedagogy, campus news & highlights and other innovative initiatives of the Institute with science & technology readers, researchers, industry, academia, and S&T policy planners across the country. Printed versions of Techscape are also shared with PMO, Secretaries of GoI, GoR and many of the premier institutions and laboratories across the country for a wider visibility.
The Institution Publication Committee invites articles from the faculty members and their PhD students for its three issues (April, August, and December) every year. The call for Articles remains open through year, and submitted entries are considered for the upcoming issue. Please submit your articles, spanning up to 1500-2000 words, typed in Book Antiqua, 11pt, single line spacing, along with high-resolution images via the Online Submission Form. Please read the Editorial Policy and Author guidelines carefully before submission of your article.
The Bioscope Section of Techscape features photos and videos of science and technology activities from the campus along with people and flora/fauna. This also includes mentions of recently filed patents, national or international-level achievements, and major Institute events. If you wish to submit a photo or video of campus flora/fauna or any science & technology activity, please upload it in this form: Techscape Bioscope Submissions. If you just wish to submit a mention of a patent or achievement, please share relevant details in the text field of the form (along with photo, if available), and we will create the slide for your entry.

Editorial Policy
Editorial policy for Techscape: The Science, Technology and Education Journal of IIT Jodhpur
The following is the Policy for TechScape: The Science, Technology and Education Journal of IIT Jodhpur: | ||||||||||||||||||||
1. | Purpose, Focus and Scope:TechScape: The Science, Technology and Education Journal of IIT Jodhpur, will feature latest developments in research and pedagogy at IIT Jodhpur, views and commentaries on science and technology in the world at large and having connection with the Institute, in-focus features and research snippets, outreach and campus highlights. It will have articles for serious readers understandable without specialized knowledge. The content will be curated to be of general interest, in particular to the IIT Jodhpur community and to all stakeholders at large. | |||||||||||||||||||
2. | Language: The content of the journal will be in English. | |||||||||||||||||||
3. | Major Sections & Sources of Information: The major sections and sequence in which the contents of TechScape will be organized is as below. | |||||||||||||||||||

4. | Span, Extent, and Frequency: The journal will be released thrice in an academic year, with one issue to commemorate Institute Foundation Day and one issue to commemorate the Annual Convocation, whenever these events may be held. | |||||||||||||||||||
5. | Format and Design: The format and design adopted for the Foundation Day Issue of TechScape in August 2020 will be followed for further issues. | |||||||||||||||||||
6. | Hosting and Distribution: The journal will be hosted electronically on the Institute’s Website. An electronic copy will also be sent to a list of external organizations provided by the Institute’s Public Relations Officer. Hard copies of the journal will be sent to specific organizations, a list of which will be prepared by the Committee and approved by the Director. | |||||||||||||||||||
7. | Process of Review: Initial copies of the articles would be sent to members of the Institute Publication Committee for copyediting and review. After review, the articles will be compiled into a final copy and sent to the Director for inputs and approval. The design and layout of the journal will be implemented after the Director approves the final copy | |||||||||||||||||||
8. | Selection of Articles: The selection of articles for publication in TechScape: The Science, Technology and Education Journal of IIT Jodhpur, shall be the prerogative of the Director, IIT Jodhpur, and the Institute Publication Committee | |||||||||||||||||||
9. | Revision in Policy: As per requirements arising from time to time, the Institute Publication Committee shall discuss and propose revisions to the existing policy. | |||||||||||||||||||
