Research Highlights

Ph.D. students, Sipra Mohapatra and Hema Teherpuria, have been awarded the prestigious APS travel grant and Best Poster award for HEMA at CCP2024

Our Ph.D. students, Sipra Mohapatra and Hema Teherpuria, have been awarded the prestigious APS travel grant to present their research work at the XXXV IUPAP Conference on Computational Physics (CCP2024) from July 7-12, 2024, hosted at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Sipra delivered an oral presentation at the conference, where her work received excellent appreciation and valuable suggestions for future advancements from leading experts in the field.

Additionally, Hema (co-advised by Dr. Prabhat K. Jaiswal) was honored with the Best Poster Award at CCP2024.

Both Sipra and Hema have demonstrated exceptional dedication in unraveling fundamental ion transport mechanisms in battery electrolytes. These achievements reflect their hard work and the support they have received from the physics community at IIT Jodhpur.

Details of the research presented:

The Impact of Pectin on Transport and Mechanical Properties of EC-LITFSI Electrolytes – Sipra Mohapatra

Salt Effects on Ionic Conductivity Mechanisms in Ethylene Carbonate Electrolytes: Interplay of Viscosity and Ion-ion Relaxations – Hema Teherpuria
