Represented India at the 9th BRICS Young Scientist Forum held in Sochi, Russia, from 25–29 November 2024, where he was felicitated as a BRICS Young Scientist by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
Dr. Nishant Kumar’s research has received significant national and international recognition for its impact and innovation in the fields of electric mobility and renewable energy systems. One of his notable innovations, a “Cutting-Edge EV Charging Adapter for Remote Solar Panel Applications,” was prominently featured in national media on 7th June 2024. This breakthrough technology, designed to support isolated solar panel infrastructures in remote regions, was covered by over 50 prominent national media platforms, including Economic Times, The Telegraph, India Today, Hindustan Times, Business Standard, Deccan Herald, ABP Live, The Week, The Print, Green Wheels India, ETV Bharat, and several regional language platforms, underscoring its socio-technological relevance and real-world impact
