The Energy Conversion & Systems Lab is dedicated for research and academic activities in the areas of power engineering and electrical machines.

Academic Activities
Research and teaching activities are carried out in the following areas:
- Performance evaluation, parameter estimation, and characterization of electrical machine
- Synchronization and parallel operation
- Performance of transmission lines
- Reactive power compensation
- Characteristics of protective relays
The Lab is used for conducting lab session of courses on Introduction to Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines and Power Systems.
