Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur bestows the Young Researcher Award (Humanities, Social Science and Management) upon Dr. Bhushan Praveen Jangam, Department of Economics, for his exceptional scientific and professional contributions.
Dr. Bhushan Praveen Jangam obtained his Doctoral degree in Economics from IIT Hyderabad. He joined IIT Jodhpur in February 2023. His research focuses on the digital economy, financial technology (FinTech), and international trade. He has collaborated on several research projects with the Asian Development Bank and leading Central Banks in the Asia-Pacific region. He received the Dr. Vandana Sharma Memorial Award for Teaching Innovation (2025) and the Emerald Literati Award (2020). He has published 25 international journal papers, one book chapter, and holds one patent related to automobile applications.
