Office Order for the Creation of the Department of Economics
The Board of Governors, in its 43rd meeting held on April 27, 2026, approved the creation of the Department of Economics, based on the recommendation of the Senate of IIT Jodhpur. In view of the direction and approval of the Board of Governors, the Department of Economics is created at IIT Jodhpur with the following details, w.e.f. May 1, 2026.
