Saakshi works in the development of gas- and bio-sensors based on nanomaterials, heterostructures, and MEMS. Before joining IIT Jodhpur, she worked as a SERB Research Scientist and INSPIRE Faculty at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering and the Centre for Applied Research in Electronics (CARE), IIT Delhi, respectively, from 2013 to 2019. She was working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Jodhpur, from September 2019 to June 2023.
