A Social Anthropologist. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Sociology at School of Liberal Arts, IIT, Jodhpur and a former Fellow at Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. His research interests lie mainly in the areas of Science and Technology Studies, Ethnographic studies of communities in ecologically sensitive regions, Ethnomusicology and relationship between law and society, typically existence of illegality in society as public secrets.
Dr. Prasenjeet has a few publications to his name in journals, edited volumes and news platforms and is currently finishing his monograph titled “Decolonizing Cannabis: History, Hegemony and Opportunities” from IIAS press.
