Dr. Monika Dubey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Infrastructure Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur.
Educational Background
Dr. Dubey received her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee,
specializing in wastewater treatment, the fate of organic micropollutants, and
environmental risk assessment.
Research Interests
Dr. Dubey’s research expertise lies in environmental monitoring, wastewater
treatment, environmental remediation, and mass spectrometry techniques such as
UHPLC-MS/MS, with a particular focus on emerging contaminants in the
environment and their fate during wastewater treatment. She actively engages in
collaborative and interdisciplinary research to develop innovative and
sustainable solutions, contributing to advancements in sustainable wastewater
management and environmental protection.
Sustainable Environmental Systems (SES) Lab
The Sustainable Environmental Systems (SES) Lab at IIT Jodhpur is dedicated to
developing innovative and sustainable technologies for environmental protection
and resource recovery. The research spans wastewater treatment, nature-based
solutions, the fate and removal of emerging contaminants, bioelectrochemical
processes, and carbon sequestration strategies. By integrating advanced
analytical tools and AI-driven approaches, SES Lab aims to address critical
challenges in water, environment, and climate sustainability.
Research Positions Open
Research positions are available in the fields of biological wastewater
treatment, advanced oxidation processes for water and wastewater treatment,
nature-based solutions, and micropollutant/transformation product analysis.
