Dr. Nidhi Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. Dr. Sharma earned her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. She has over seven years of teaching and research experience in the field of Aerospace Engineering with a strong focus on computational and experimental studies. Prior to her current position, Dr. Sharma served in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Amity University Uttar Pradesh and Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh. She was also a recipient of the Mitacs Accelerate Grant Fellowship and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the UBC- Okanagan Computational Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, School of Engineering, University of British Columbia Okanagan, Canada.

Dr Sharma’s research involves computational fluid dynamics with a focus on high fidelity simulations of compressible and turbulent flows. Her work includes development and analysis of high accuracy numerical methods for direct numerical simulation and efficient algorithms for high performance computing. She is also engaged in advancing fuel injection models to enhance mixing and combustion efficiency in scramjet engines.
