Dr. Devendra Singh has done his Ph.D from JNCASR, Bangalore, India in 2017, under the guidance of Prof. Ranjan Datta. He has obtained the Carl Tyggers Postdoctoral Fellowship at Uppsala University, Sweden. Dr. Negi has obtained Max-Planck Institute Postdoctoral Fellowship, in Stuttgart, Germany for postdoctoral research in 2019. Currently, he is an assistant professor in the Department of materials engineering, at IIT Jodhpur, India.
His research interests are in understanding and developing the various functional materials e.g, magnetic materials, 2D materials, thermoelectric materials, quantum materials, nanomaterials etc.
Apart of materials development Dr. Negi holds a vast expertise in advanced imaging and spectroscopic techniques in advanced aberration corrected transmission electron microscopy. Dr. Negi is interested in developing various analytical techniques e.g, EELS, EMCD, DPC, STEM technique in TEM.
