Memorandum of Understanding signed between IIT Jodhpur and Johari Digital Healthcare Ltd

 

 

Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur and Johari Digital Healthcare Ltd, Jodhpur signed an MoU on 11 November 2020 for the establishment of a new Centre of Excellence for new innovations at IIT Jodhpur Technology Park situated at IIT Jodhpur campus. The signing ceremony was held at IIT Jodhpur campus in the presence of the Professor Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur and Shri Satyendra Johari (Chairman), Johari Digital Healthcare Ltd

This CoE is being set up for the purpose of advancing scientific and technological knowledge in the area of Medical Devices and Technologies through collaboration between IIT Jodhpur and Johari Digital Healthcare. CoE will have special focus on conversion of new ideas and processes to products for meeting market demands.

Johari Digital HealthCare LTD, Ltd., founded in 1979 and located in Jodhpur India, Johari Digital Healthcare is the first Company in India to get certified by International Quality standards like MDSAP, US FDA and ISO 13485 to Design and Manufacture Medical Electronic Devices. The major part of production is for Exports to USA and distributed Globally in life science, diagnostic, therapeutic and healthcare markets

Shri Satyendra Johari (Chairman), Johari Digital Healthcare Ltd. stated that with this collaboration with IIT Jodhpur, he sees a great opportunity to bring innovation to the market place in an accelerated manner. “Globally we see a huge growth of the global healthcare market, mainly attributed to the technological advancements; increasing incidences of infectious and lifestyle diseases, and growing public and private investments. Prof. Santanu Chaudhury indicated that emerging technologies like AI, IOT, Precision Medicine, Advanced Imaging Systems are opening up new possibilities for breakthroughs in the space of medical technologies and this CoE will bring together academic excellence and industrial rigour for deep-tech innovations
