Dr. Amit Mishra, Associate Professor, Department of Bioscience & Bioengineering, recipient of highly prestigious `Malaviya Memorial Award` for 2018 by The Biotech Research Society, India
Dr. Amit Mishra, Associate Professor, Department of Bioscience & Bioengineering, received highly prestigious 'Malaviya Memorial Award' for 2018 by The Biotech Research Society, India (BRSI India-Biotechnology Division, CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Trivandrum, India). After various rigorous rounds, his candidature was selected for his outstanding contribution and excellent research in the field of Neurobiology and Neurodegeneration fundamental critical findings. Dr. Amit Mishra received this prize in the presence of Board of Governors (BOG)-BRSI via BRSI Chairman Board of Governors (BOG) Prof. Tej Pal Singh (GN Ramachandran Gold Medal CSIR, Goyal Prize, JC Bose Memorial Award, Alexander von Humboldt Fellow Distinguished Biotechnology Research Professor, DBT; All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi); Prof. Alok Dhawan (Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research); Prof. Anjan Ray (Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Petroleum); Prof. Ashok Pandey (Central Office Executive- Biotech Research Society); Prof. Christian Larroche (Dean University Clermont Auvergne (UCA) and Prof. Duu-Jong Lee (Professor, National Taiwan University) The honour was conferred on Dr. Amit Mishra on 20th November 2019 at the opening session of the BRSI Convention of the Society being organized as the "International Conference on New Horizons in Biotechnology 2019" at Thiruvananthapuram, India.
