Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur envisions the integration of space technology and space science education programs with basic and applied research for meeting the national R&D requirements of space sector. With a host of expert academics and close links with industries, the inter-disciplinary program (IDRP) on Space Science and Technology (SST) at IIT Jodhpur offers the ideal research environment for the next generation of space scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs. Students in the space sciences Ph.D. program can align research projects with their career goals and study advanced topics. Our research themes cover a wide range of topics such as space vehicles, space communication techniques, remote sensing, robotics and space science payloads, to name a few. Interested candidates can apply through out the year. The admissions will be carried out two times a year based on the vacancy availability (July and December).
