Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur started its journey in 2008 along with seven other IITs established by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Government of India, to ensure quality technical education reaching students from all strata of society.
The Institute is celebrating its 10th year of growth in the academic sector in the year 2019 with a promise to conglomerate Technical, Science and Humanities education that provides a wholesome development of students. The Institute has embraced latest pedagogical techniques to provide state-of-the-art technical education with the help of a set of committed Faculty Members having expertise in different fields of Technology, Science and Arts. At present the Institute offers a total of four undergraduate and several post graduate programs through nine departments. The Institute has introduced a set of brand new post graduate programs in topical areas with two new departments namely Civil Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
