The SME logo is based on the rising sun showcasing SME as a new dawn for management education. Located in the magnificent Suncity of Jodhpur, SME is the first school in Asia to offer a Tech specialization in management. The sun is also referred to as a “divine rejuvenator” in Indian Mythology. SME seeks to continually reinvent, refurbish and rejuvenate conventional management courses with an aim to leverage the opportunities created by digital transformation and other emerging technologies. IIT Jodhpur is an emerging technological powerhouse in the country and the blend of the SME logo with IITJ logo represents a flourishing ecosystem where technology feeds management and management feeds technology.

SME acronym is shown in the form of six pillars encapsulating the six core values of the IITJ community, our primary tenets, that come together to help us accomplish our six key missions. The checkmark at the top signifies our pursuit of excellence where we always strive to do things in a spirit of nobility and exemplarity. The Logo takes its colour from the historic blue city of Jodhpur which is a flourishing centre for business and entrepreneurship in the country.
