Dr Anjali Chopra has 23 years of experience in areas of Marketing research, marketing analytics and consumer behaviour. She is an alumnus of Goa Institute of Management and has a PhD in Consumer behaviour comparing Organised retail with respect to traditional retail. She is presently an Associate Professor working in the department of Marketing and International Business at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management, Somaiya Vidyavihar University and is also an Associate Editor for Business Perspectives and Research, Sage Publications (Category C from ABDC list).

Her research interests include consumer behaviour of millennial, digital adoption, marketing communication, sustainable marketing. She started her career as a market researcher with Organizations like Kantar and Nielsen and has worked on research consulting assignments for corporations like Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, Marico, Star TV Network, Tata Motors, Asian Paints. She was cofounder of 2 Start-ups where she has conceptualized, designed and delivered High Impact Selling Skills Workshop for Vodafone Business Services, Neutrogena (Johnson & Johnson), Thomson Reuters, Nerolac Paints to name a few.

She has designed and delivered Machine Learning Training to the Marketing Team of HDFC Bank, Vietnam Prosperity Bank, HDFC Life. She has worked on Marketing Strategy consulting for XtraLiving Pvt Ltd operating in the health & fitness space to identify market potential and customer segments, Go to Market Strategy for Elephant Plate a plant-based startup based in the US, Customer Satisfaction Study for Swasth Foundation, an NGO started by 2 IITians and Ex McKinsey Consultants serving the needs of the urban poor in the health sector. She has designed Management Development programs in Data Driven Decision Making (Republic India), Customer Insights (Mahindra & Mahindra), Brand Management (Indian Merchants Chamber), Business Research (INS Hamla), Agent Recruitment and Selling Skills (Life Insurance Corporation), Marketing (Godrej & Boyce) to name a few.She has been part of a cross functional team which has developed a copyrighted scale “Me-to-We-Team Profilometer” which helps Organizations develop high performance teams.
