Dr. Hari Om Yadav, Senior Principal Scientist, Innovation Management Directorate, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) HQrs, [Ministry of Science & Technology (GoI)], New Delhi has assumed charge of the Registrar, IIT Jodhpur on July 27, 2022. Dr. Yadav holds M.Sc. (Electronics) and Ph.D. (Applied Physics) from University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT), University of Bombay, Mumbai – currently known as Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. 

 Dr. Yadav after his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at IIT Delhi; ETL Japan; and ICTP Italy Programme at University of Dhaka (Bangladesh), served Agra College (Agra University) for about 10 years as Sr. Lecturer/Assistant Professor at the Physics Department, taught UG & PG Students and served as Chairman for many Administrative Committees. Thereafter, he joined CSIR in 2001 and served there for more than 20 years as a S&T/R&D Management Scientist. For 20 years, he was the Nodal Scientist for CSIR’s flagship scheme entitled “New Millennium Indian Technology Leadership Initiative (CSIR-NMITLI) - India’s first National R&D Program in PPP Mode. He contributed immensely in its successful implementation. In addition, Dr. Yadav had been the Program Deputy Director, CSIR’s Hydrogen Technology (H2T) Mission and Group Leader for CSIR’s Mission Mode Projects. He managed about 100 in-house and 25 NMITLI (industry led projects) administratively and financially, both, which resulted in technology and product developments, soft outputs, etc . He is Member of many Committees of Govt. Departments and Ministries and Research Councils of 3 CSIR Labs.

Dr. Yadav has been a S&T manager at national level, administrator, faculty and researcher with wide range of rich experience of more than 36 years.
