Vigyan Jyoti Program at IIT Jodhpur during 14 May – 02 June 2018 |
IIT Jodhpur is organizing Vigyan Jyoti Program during 14 May – 02 June 2018. The program is a new initiative of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, to bring gender parity in the different fields of Science & Technology (S&T), where females are under-represented. Under this program, 30 girl students of Classes XI & XII of nearby government schools are residing on campus of IIT Jodhpur for 3 weeks, and participating in various activities designed specially for them on a spectrum of issues, like, Role Models, Society & Life, Health, Competence, and Profession & Life. |
The program started with Inaugural Session on 14 May 2018 at 2.30 pm. The following are some photographs of the ongoing program. |
