Panelists

Akshay Nambi (Microsoft): Akshay Nambi, Senior Researcher at Microsoft Research (MSR) India, has done Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. Before this, he was a Post-doc at MSR. He is particularly interested in end-to-end Computer Vision & Artificial Intelligence (AI) & IoT for Society and currently taking care of numerous AI and Vision-related projects at MSR.

Gaurav Aggarwal (Google): I am a research scientist at Google India. My interest lies in machine learning and computer vision. Before Google, I worked at Ola Cabs, a ride-hailing company in India, as the head of data science. Earlier, I founded a technology start-up Fashiate that was acquired by Snapdeal, an e-commerce marketplace. I have also worked as a senior research scientist at Yahoo Labs and as an assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame. I did my Btech in Computer Science from IIT Madras and PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Anoop Kolar Rajagopal (Byju’s): Anoop is a computer vision research engineer working at Byjus. He is currently working on vision based solutions for hands-on educational games. Prior to this he worked at Myntra on applying Vision/ML solutions to catalogue and supply chain problems. He obtained his PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Yukti Suri (AjnaLens): Working in the field of Computer Vision and AI since the last 7+ years after my Masters in Computer Vision and Robotics. I have worked on projects related to ADAS, Medical Imaging, Machine Vision and AI for Mixed Reality smart glasses. Currently, I am leading a dynamic team to solve real-world problems in the fields of education, defence and enterprise using Computer Vision and AI in XR.

Tuhin Bose (Videonetics):VP & CTO and a key technical architect and contributor at Videonetics, has done Bachelors in CSE from Bengal Engineering and Science University. He has 25+ years of experience in R&D, teaching, engineering, management, and product delivery. His skillset includes hardware and software architecture design, design and analysis of algorithms, embedded systems design, product planning, and implementation, field testing, and deployment.

Dr. Balamuralidhar P (TCS): is a Principal Scientist and Head of TCS Research & Innovation Lab-Bangalore. He has obtained Bachelor of Technology from Kerala University and Master of Technology from IIT Kanpur. His PhD is from Aalborg University, Denmark in the area of Cognitive Wireless Networks. He currently leads research teams in the areas of Sensor Informatics Robotics & Machine Vision. He has over 150 publications in various international journals and conferences.

Dipinder Sekhon (Kritikal Solutions): Co-Founder and CEO at KritiKal Solutions & Industry Co-Chair at ICVGIP, holds Master's and Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT Delhi, with a specialization in Computer Vision. At KritiKal, he has been involved in the Management & Delivery of Computer Vision, Imaging(AI) projects, coordinates overall operations and drives future growth strategy and business planning at KritiKal. Dipinder also holds a Master's in Public Administration (MPA - Public & Economic Policy) from LSE and Sciences-Po, Paris.
