The Indian Conference on Computer Vision, Graphics and Image Processing (ICVGIP) is India’s premier conference in Computer Vision, Graphics, Image Processing and related fields. Started in 1998, it is a biennial international conference providing a forum for presentation of technological advances and research findings in these areas. ICVGIP 2020, the 12th conference in this series, is being organized by IIT Jodhpur in association with the Indian Unit for Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence (IUPRAI), an affiliate of the International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPR) during December 2020.
ICVGIP is dedicated to fostering the community of computer vision, graphics and image processing researchers and enthusiasts in India and abroad. We strive to live up to this goal at every occurrence of this bi-annual conference. ICVGIP 2020 was supposed to be held at IIT Jodhpur during December 18-22, 2020.
However, due to unprecedented conditions that prevail in the world around us today as a result of the CoVID crisis, we have to find new ways to build and nurture our communities. As a result this year, ICVGIP is being split into two events to adapt to this change.
The first event will be the ICVGIP Talks and Tutorials program. It will be a fully virtual event and will take place during December 19-21, 2020. It will be hosted online by IIT Jodhpur. This event will host many invited talks by world-renowned researchers from academia and industry, in areas of interest to the ICVGIP community. It will also run tutorials on cutting edge research domains and wide ranging subject areas. The details about the online event will be made available soon.
The second event will be the full ICVGIP conference and it will be hosted in December 2021 at IIT Jodhpur. We hope that everyone will be able to join us in person at that time.
