Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IITJ) signed an MoU with Scholar Lab Foundation for conducting translational research activities targeted at the development of technology-oriented products and solutions for the betterment of society. Scholar Lab foundation is a ‘not-for-profit’ Section 8 company established by all IIT alumni community having diverse expertise in product development and innovation. The MoU signing was done by Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, Director, IIT Jodhpur and Mr. Anjan Ghosh, Managing Director, Scholar Lab Foundation. IIT Jodhpur and Scholar Lab foundation aim to work together for developing new products and processes in the domain of Energy, Water Management, Healthcare, IT, Environment and New Technologies of mutual interest. The MoU is a unique initiative by IIT Jodhpur to engage with philanthropic initiatives of diverse and experienced IIT alumni community in creating new generation technologies. IIT Jodhpur strongly believes that technological needs of the country can be met through such joint initiatives. The academic and research curriculums at IIT Jodhpur encourages contributions from diverse IIT alumni community in mentoring students and in incubating as well as devising strategy for future growth.
