| IIT Jodhpur organized International Workshop on Science of Intelligence during 18 – 19 January 2020 in collaboration with IIT Delhi. The second day of the workshop witnessed talk by Prof. Pawan Sinha (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA) on ‘Deriving insights regarding visual learning from human studies’, Prof. Santanu Chaudhury (Director, IIT Jodhpur) on ‘Connectomics and Artificial Intelligence’. Other talks were by Prof. Srinivasa Chakravarthy (IIT Madras) on ‘Simplifying the brain’, and ‘Auditory cortical development - Impact of rare stimuli’ by Dr. Sharba Bandyopadhyay (IIT Kharagpur). The workshop connected different researchers working in the field of Cognitive Science from the domains of Neuroscience, Psychology, Linguistics, and AI. Expert from different IITs, NBRC, and MIT joined the discussion and more than 100 participants benefited from it. |
