Abstract
Data communication through physical wireline media from one IC to another is all pervasive in today’s world, from inside a mobile, a smart watch, a computer to data-centres. In this talk, the topic is introduced keeping wide-background electronic engineering students in mind. The challenges are slowly build-up and their solutions are introduced in the simplest possible manner. An introduction to the future direction is also covered.
