Belle Collaboration confirmed our results

The measurements related to the decay of a beauty meson into another meson known as charmed meson along with a tau (a heavier cousin of an electron) and a neutrino cannot be explained by the standard theory. Many groups worldwide attempted explaining this anomaly in terms of new interactions beyond the current paradigm. However, they found that there are many new such solutions. So in order to resolve the puzzle, one needs to uniquely identify the structure of this new interaction.
Our collaboration proposed that a class of these new interactions, known as tensor interactions, can be confirmed or ruled out if one is able to measure the polarization of the charmed meson in the decay of a beauty meson. We also suggested that this observable could be easily measured with the current experiment facility. This work is published in Physical Review D (http://inspirehep.net/record/1468637) and has more than 60 citations till now.
Very recently, on 19th September 2018, the Belle collaboration presented their preliminary result in the "10th International Workshop on the CKM Unitarity Triangle" in University of Heidelberg, Germany. This measurement literally rules out tensor interactions as a possible new physics interaction, confirming our results!
