Sakshi Shukla (Ph.D. student of Sociology, HSS) has received the Honorable Mention Award from the 2019 MAXQDA #ResearchforChange Grant Selection Committee, Berlin, for her proposed dissertation, entitled “Postcolonial Intersections in Digital India: Navigating Gendered Spaces in Information Technology”. This is a highly competitive award and only a top few applicants globally are recognised with it. The Honorable Mention Award includes an international award certificate and one year of MAXQDA Project Sponsorship towards data analysis of her proposed research. This award is particularly given to student-researchers whose fieldwork aims to study, bring awareness to, and contribute to gender empowerment initiatives.
