| SERB, India launched a programme called the Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellowship (OVDF) programme with the aim to provide research training to PhD students admitted in Indian institutions in an oversea university/institute. Ms. Devika Laishram was selected as a part of this programme for six months to work at Excitonics and Nanostructures Lab with Dr. Karthik Shankar, Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada. The fellowship is fully funded by SERB with monthly stipend, air fares and preparatory allowance. |
