About Us

The Central Library of IIT Jodhpur is functional in the camp office located in MBM Engineering College campus. It supports on teaching-learning and research activities of the Institute.

Library Collection

The library presently has around 5000 books and also subscribes to some magazines. Access to e-journals from Elsevier’s Science Direct, Springer Link, and Scopus database are presently available. Through this facility, the faculty and students have access to a huge database of journals and research material. The library is in the process of enriching its collection in terms of books, journals and electronic/digital resources. The staff of Central Library is at the service students and faculty of IIT Jodhpur and its community at large.

Service Hours

• Opening Hours: 9.00am to 6.00pm on all working days of the institute.
• Transaction hours: 9.30am to 5.30pm

Library Automation

The library services have been automated, facilitating the Online Public Access Catalogue accessible everywhere.

Membership

• All students, faculty members and staff of the institute can access the library. The library facilities and services can be availed for the purpose of academic, research and administrative work.
• The registration to use the library facility and services is automatic for the faculty and staff on joining the institute.
• Students become library members after semester registration for the courses.
• Use of library facilities and services implies acceptance of its rules and procedures.
